Little Foot no longer in the Human Family Tree?
A new paper in the journal Science says that the skeleton of an Australopithecus afarensis found about ten years ago in South Africa is not between 3 and 4 million years old as originally thought, but is more like only 2 mya.I've written an in-depth post on the subject of the skeleton known as "Little Foot" and its revised age over at Anthropology.net.
